Welcome to The Garden Cottage Farm!

We’re JC & SO

The Garden Cottage Farm has been a deep desire in our hearts to pursue a simpler and slower lifestyle. It is a calling to care for God’s creation, a passion to be a part of our community, and a hope to help ourselves and others to reconnect with the true riches of life which we believe are faith, family, and time. Our journey to get to this point is a long story. One full of twists and turns, mountains and valleys, yet through it all God’s hand has been in it. I’ll save the long story for a blog post one day, for now let us tell you a little more about us and what you can expect here at the farm!

JC has a background in agriculture and loves being outside. He is calm and gentle in nature, wise and cares deeply about educating others on farming and agriculture. He knows his way around the tractor and is always working on a new project. He lives out his faith and values in everything he does on the farm and in every other aspect of his life. His favorite fruit on the farm is a Lemon Zest Mango.

SO has a background in the mental health field and has always seen the benefits of nature for the human mind, heart, and soul. Working with her hands and living at a slower pace connected to her faith and values has been therapeutic in her own life. She is constantly dreaming up the future for the farm alongside JC and pursuing the Lords guidance in all things. Her favorite fruit on the farm is a Yellow Jamaican Cherry or a Coconut Cream Mango.

Here at the farm we invite you to slow down, learn, and reconnect with God’s creation. We will soon have experiences and workshops on the farm so stay connected through social media or email to stay up to date about those opportunities!

Until then, come see what we have to offer at our Farm Stand which is open on Saturdays and Sundays, you can find out more info at The Farm Stand Tab at the top of the page. We are so glad you’re here & can’t wait to see you soon!
